Safety & security is of paramount importance to us. Our goal is to ensure that the highest standards of health & safety are maintained at all times. All staff are fully converse with our health & safety policies. These are regularly updated to ensure we keep exposure to risk minimal.

All equipment & learning aids conform to British safety standards, and are rigorously & regularly checked & cleansed

All staff are first aid trained and are always available to deal with situations appropriately

Close care and attention is made possible by the correct ratios of adults to children, ensuring close supervision at all times

Rolleston Kindergarten is secure at all times. The physical environment, both internally & externally, is maintained with close attention paid to risk assessment, cleanliness & hygiene.

Rolleston Kindergarten comply fully with HSE guidelines and legislation. Updated policies and internal controls are critical to ensuring the high standards we promote are maintained.

Rolleston Kindergarten are registered and validated by Ofsted. Regular internal controls & external training ensure complete compliance with Ofsted requirements.

Rolleston Kindergarten adhere to the learning & development requirements. These are taken from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and are a statutory requirement as per the Childcare Act 2006.

It is acknowledged that young children are prone to childhood illnesses during their early years. Whilst this is largely unpredictable, in the best interests of the staff and other children, Rolleston Kindergarten cannot allow children to attend nursery during periods of contagious illness.
